4th of July
Man, my 4th was so awesome!!! It was totally cool that I got to SLEEP in for one of the first times since school let out!!! Then my family and I went to my cousin's house, where they was having fireworks and this big party that lasted until 5:00 in the morning. Then I had to spend the night because by the time I would have gotten home it was going to be time to come to work..So I ended up spending the whole day with my family and we chilled and had a lot of fun!!! It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I missed having you here yesterday, I don't think it was a coincidence that the day I finally needed all the numbers from counting records in the catalogs you were ugh..umm...absent??? Hmmm? Was that planned? Nah!
Just kidding. :)
I'll miss our 3pm discussions on Collection Development Acquisition Theories as we stroll around the campus enjoying the weather.
Oh well there is always lunchtime, right?

I am so glad you had lots of fun with the fam during the holiday season! It was a good time for me as well. I got the chance to be with my Mom, siblings, their spouses, and children. It was good to be connected to my family roots again. I have to make up time with friends and former colleagues the next time I am in Detroit!
