Just another day at work
Well today is my 5th day and I must say I am kind of glad. Working at the library is cool, but you always have to do the most tedious jobs. Plus, by me being a student worker, it seems like just save those jobs for you to do. I mean I can't complain, everybody is extremely nice and really laid back. But, it is just those times when your mind starts to think, "Man, I could be at home chilling on the couch and watching tv like my friends." Or there are those times when you be like I woke up at 7:00 in the morning for this. But as stated before, I don't want to seem ungrateful or even selfish it just gets a little old quick and I just started!!! Man, this is going to be my whole summer. Yeah for me!!! Well, I least it pays good.

Honesty is good therapy.
I believe that since we never did get that 40 Acres and a Mule promised by General William Tecumseh Sherman's Special Field Order No. 15...then getting paid for doing "Tedious" work is the closest we will get to Reparations.
Perception is the great determinant. It is all in the way you view the situation.

One approach is seeing how you are playing an important role in developing the Africana Studies collection here at ND.
You are an important piece to the puzzle....Felicia and I are both doing as much as you are doing and even a lot more....This experience is preparing you for something greater and grander......
